The Grand Master, Jim McHarg, together with the Order’s Executive Officer met tonight with James Dornan MSP at Olympia House in Glasgow.

It was a positive and informative meeting with many issues discussed.  The meeting was another step forward in trying to create a better understanding of what the Orange Order stands for.  Also, it is always worth listening to the views of others such as James Dornan who has at times been critical of the Order and its parades.  It is hoped that through continued dialogue, many of the issues that affect the Order and communities throughout Scotland can be addressed.

The Grand Master would like to thank James for taking the time to meet and listen, and looks forward to continued discussions on a range of issues going forward.
