£21,000 donated to children with life-limiting illnesses

A Lanarkshire-based charity were given a huge cash boost recently after they were presented with a cheque for £21,000. Glasgow Children’s Cancer Hospital donation

Sis May Weir of Daughters of Ruth LLOL 103, Fauldhouse, has raised a magnificent £2,200 for Glasgow Children’s Cancer Hospital. She achieved it by organising a sponsored walk, bingo nights and raffles among lodge members and friends. Well done May, and grateful thanks to all who supported her.
