This book traces the origins of the Scottish Orange Order back to those who first made such a Declaration, down to the year 1875 when various strands of the Orange tradition were about to unite as one body known the present day as the Loyal Orange Institution of Scotland, more commonly called 'The Scottish Orange Order'. from which the title is derived, its sub-title reflecting its overarching content and roots - For Crown and Constitution.
